End Fed Half Wave (EFHW) Portable antenna with 1 x FT240-43 core

This is a tried and tested high power portable End Fed Half Wave antenna. 
 
The antenna  is built using a single Fair-Rite T240-43 core (49:1 winding),  TDK 2kv 100pF capacitor, BNC connector, 5mm stainless steel connections, and  velcro strap.
 
The strap is used to hold the antenna wire to the integrated winder, also allowing you to strap the transformer to an antenna mast.  
 
The single T240-43 core will handle 400w SSB or 100w CW/Data (duty cycles apply).
 
 
Note 
 
The antenna is supplied with 21m of SOTA wire.  Please check your SWR before using the antenna and tune it to 7.000 mhz.  This will resonate on the 20m, 15m, and 10m bands as well.
