Building the 100w Dipole Kit

Updated: Jun 12

We recently released out new 100w Dipole Kit. Super simple kit to build. Suitable for Radio Amateus and CB use.

A completed kit!!
A completed kit!!

We have recoded a video on how to build the kit (sorry about the resolution). Hopefully this will be easier to follow than a lengthy blog post.

When you have completed th ekit you will just need to add wire at the correct length for the frequency of use To calculate the amount of wire you will need for the kit you just divide the 143 / Frequency (MHz) = Wavelength (m), then divide the result by 2 (for each leg).

So for a 20m centered at 14.175mhz dipole the calculation would be 143/14.175 = 10.088 meters, divided by two would give each leg of the dipole at 5.044m. Round up the value a little and this will give you soom for adjustment when tuning/trimming.
