New for 2026 our 2m Moxon kit. We designed this antennas during the autum of 2025 so we could take part in the 145 Alive events using a very light Moxon designed to be used as either a horizontal or verticle polorised antenna (see prototype picture).
Unlike basic wire Moxons this antenna has a built in common mode choke at the feedpoint as well as a custom PCB and 3d (ABS) printed parts to allow you to make a really effective profesional looking antenna that performs really well.
Moxon has a gain of typically 5.5 to 8 dBi in a compact, rectangle-shaped antenna this antenna has excellent front-to-back (F/B) ratio (often 25-30 dB) and small size, making it ideal for limited spaces, providing directional gain like a small Yagi but in a more efficient package
The kit contains
- Custom PCB
- All the ABS parts needed for the spreaders and common mode choke
- Coax and Wire for the build. We provide ample wire.
- Centre hub for horizontal and verticle polorisation
- Wire spacers
- Cable ties
- M3 stainless steel nuts and bolts
- 6mm lightweight fibreglass poles
You will need to cut the poles to size and also tune the antenna. Build instructions are available on our Blog.
Here is a quick video using the prototype on Chantry Hill West Sussex to Devon.
