Toroidal cores are used in a wide variety of applications such as power input filters, ground- fault interrupters, common- mode filters and in pulse and broadband transformers.
 
You can use these cores for a range of Common Mode Choke, Balun and Bradband transformer projects.
 
These are the go-to cores for EFHW 1:49 type Broadband transformers or Autotransformers for 80m-10m End Feed Half Wave (EFHW) Antennas.
 
Use one core to support 100w output power Voice and CW/Digital modes.  Two cores will support full UK legal limits.
 
The type 43 ferrite is very useful as a common mode choke from 60m and up. Please see for more details.
